peaceful towards one another. We live in richest
nation on earth and should use the economic
resources at our disposal for betterment of
our fellow Texans and the world. But, economics
is about "fair trade" and we need
plans that are sensible while taking into account
human needs.
Texans for peace believes in principals
of economic justice and fairness, economic development,
and sound fiscal principals. These include state
and local government that is responsive and
delivers services in a cost-effective manner,
support for small businesses including women
and minority -owned enterprises, and the right
of workers and their families to fair and equitable
wages and benefits.
